Chicken Coops

At Petite Farms we love our chickens; Twilly, Dosch, and Boones - they are a true delight!

Our coops are custom designed to fit within your space, while also being large enough to give your girls the space they need. The size is dependent upon the number of chickens that you want to raise.

 

At Petite Farms, we ensure that you have:

• 2-3 square feet per chicken for their coop

• 8-10 square feet per chicken for their run

• 1 square foot nesting box per 3-4 chickens

Our chicken services include:

• Designing and building a custom chicken coop

• Raising your baby chicks until they are ready for the outdoors and their coop

• Weekly maintenance to clean their coop and collect eggs

​

Chickens require daily attention for food, grit, and water - and need to be let out of their coop in the morning and closed back into their coop at night which we leave to the homeowner.

 

Our design keeps out pests and critters and only needs to be cleaned out once a month.

 

And of course, we use many of the same quality materials we use when building our vegetable gardens.
